In this week's episode, Dr. Arens and Dr. Miffy are overwhelmed when a 15-car pile-up is called in late on Sunday afternoon.
The patients arrived en masse in a jumbled heap.
Immediately, Dr. Arens and Nurse Neighbor Girl began triage exercises.
Nurse Neighbor Girl loaded patients onto one of the few available gurneys.
Realizing she was in over her head, Nurse Neighbor Girl frantically paged Nurse Ski Bear.
Nurse Ski Bear was unable to answer the page, as she was attending to one of the octo-ponies.
Dr. Arens quickly assessed the situation, attending to the most severe cases first.
Ariel had broken a fin.
Cammie 2, who'd caused the wreck, struggled on the verge of consciousness.
A bag of pills was found on her person.
Nemo, who couldn't breathe actual air, was announced dead on arrival.
Dr. Arens wanted to do surgery, but alas, it was too late.
In a fit of panic, Dr. Arens paged over the hospital intercom system for back-up.
