The little angel got sick again last night. She woke up about 3 a.m. and threw up all over her bed. As we were stripping the sheets, she threw up all over the bathroom, all over her long hair. I tried to get it out and cover the smell, but the residual odor caused her to wake up every ten minutes for the next three hours and dry heave. Really fun times. Thankfully, Beloved took over at 6 a.m. and I got some sleep, because I was starting to feel disgusting myself from exhaustion.
This morning, after a few rounds with Motrin for the little angel and a little nausea on my part, Pink Kitty also got sick. At that point, it was time to call in Dr. Arens.
The doctor responds immediately to the 911 page.
Pink Kitty was not doing well. As usual, Dr. Arens' first move was to get her a puke bowl.
Note strategic placement of towel under puke bowl. We learned this last night the hard way.
Once Motrin had been administrated, Dr. Arens took Pink Kitty's temp, stat.
It was 101, just like the little angel's, but fell rapidly after the Motrin, just like the little angel's.
Get Well Soon cards were rushed over.
Bella signs hers with a paw.
After an hour with no puking, Pink Kitty was allowed some Cheerios.
The patient is now resting quietly.
The doctor with her many happy patients. Do not send us any more stuffed animals again, ever.
