Of Ponies and Fubar

Merry Christmas, everyone!  Last night at Christmas Eve at my cousin's house the little angel told my parent's pastor that the wise men were able to find the baby Jesus because a reindeer lit their way.

I knew we shouldn't have put her in secular daycare.

This morning I was awakened by the sound of a little voice stage whispering Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in my ear.  She'd called out during the night, and I'd crawled in bed with her.  We hopped out of bed and jumped on everyone else in the house so the paper-ripping could begin.

We now own nine more My Little Ponies than we did before, one that looks like a baby, wiggles its feet and asks to play. It comes with its own Pony Bjorn and Lamaze playset. I'm disturbed.

We got my dad a Fubar, which according to the ad, can demolish a ceramic toilet in thirty seconds. Beloved and I got a vacuum.  Bella got a scratching post, which she won't use, because someone bought it for her.  I'm totally jealous of the present Blondie bought for herself, a divine Marc Jacobs purse.

Ma got us all birdseed.  We are a deeply geeky family.  And I love them all very much.  Now we just have to go home and put together the trundle bed that BlogHer bought.
