Well, I e-mailed the photo of the tree from my phone to me. I can see it just fine, but it won't save as anything but an HTML document, so I can't upload it. Any more techno thoughts for me? I realize how dumb I am admitting I am here. I'm a word person, not a graphics person.
So anyway, it's good that we did move the tree. We got a contract on This Old House. That's where I've been. It's a total lowball offer - $7,000 under asking price, and he wants us to pay $2,500 in closing costs and $500 in home warranty. When the real estate agent did that little sheet that shows you how much you will make from the sale, we nearly vomited. We're making like $5 off This Old House after living in it for six years and pouring around $15,000 into it. I'd say This Old House was probably one of our worst investments, beaten out only by that travel club in 1999. Oh, well. We're cutting our losses and getting on with the rest of our lives with our new house and our new cat, who is currently putting up with the little angel and her four-year-old cousin, the slightly taller angel, following her all over the house covering her in little-girl love.
The inspection is on Monday. I'll be there with my flashlight. I've heard some horror stories about inspections lately, so I'm going to put on my bitch face and go stand there with a clipboard or something.
Have a good weekend!
