I got an awful lot of product pitches, most of which I delete. I used to write back, but writing back started taking more and more time, and as someone who pitches regularly, I get that if someone is interested, they will write back, period.
However, as I love all paper and ink products with all my heart, when someone offers to send me a notebook AND tells me to stay awesome in the same pitch email, I'm sold.
This isn't a review so much as a share. I received some of these Miro notebooks for free, and they are pretty cool. Some of them have actual stitched covers with thread and everything. And a lot of them are just super bendy, so you can stuff them in your back pocket, which is totally helpful for people like me who carry their brains around outside their bodies and can't remember a thing two days after they had that brilliant thought that would make the best short story. I put the utility ones in my car so I will never again have to pull over and email myself something before I lose it, because I file those emails, and that is about as useful as forgetting it entirely. My daughter took the rest and immediately wrote PROPERTY OF (REDACTED) in the front of all of them. She's got a long writing career ahead of her, so I didn't argue.
